AENJ Advisory Council for an open Zoom call to productively discuss art education
You asked we listened! Once again, we invite you to join the AENJ Advisory Council for an open Zoom call to productively discuss art education. Our goal is to provide a platform for creative problem solving, positive solutions, and collaboration during this difficult time. This won’t be a place to complain – it will be a place to support each other and find solutions to many difficult challenges we are facing.
We will meet on the second Saturday at 10 AM via Zoom during October, November, and December. Please sign up below to be emailed the zoom link. Only the first 100 participants will be able to sign on to the call.
You can choose to attend for one week or all three weeks. Topics are listed below by week.
- 10/10/20: Virtual Lesson Swap: Come with your favorite virtual lesson that you have taught! What has worked well for you? How have you modified an “oldie but goodie” lesson?
- 11/14/20: Best Practices in Technology: How can we incorporate all of these platforms into our classroom without reinventing the wheel? What technology has been successful thus far, and what can we live without?
- 12/12/20: How to Make the Most out of Pandemic Teaching: Let’s regroup a bit. You’ve just spent four months teaching in a Pandemic, something you couldn’t imagine doing in August. What are things that you learned about yourself as a teacher? How has this experience shifted how we will continue to do things in the classroom?
