Are you wondering how to adapt the new 2020 Visual Arts New Jersey Student Learning Standards to your existing successful lessons without spending hours on end reinventing the wheel? Art Educators of New Jersey has the solution for you!
Join us as we discuss putting the new Visual Arts Student Learning Standards into practice! Our discussion will be led by Dr. Dale Schmid, an Independent Arts Education Specialist that assisted in writing the 2020 standards and has over 22 years of experience overseeing NJ’s Visual and Performing Arts education reform, State standards, and policies.
We will meet virtually on July 21 at 7:00 PM. Join us from your couch, your studio space, or your favorite vacation spot and get what you need to know – from adapting your existing curriculum to social-emotional learning. We recommend coming with one or more of your lesson plans and a list of questions for Dr. Schmid. Followed by a workshop session with our vast network of New Jersey Art Educators.
