The Art Educators of New Jersey tuition scholarships are awarded to high school, college, and graduate students (criteria below). Monetary awards will be presented to those students who exemplify the qualities of outstanding scholarship, service, and visual ability within their area of specialization. The Art Educators of New Jersey will grant scholarships when sufficient funds and qualified candidates are available. Recipients will receive a letter of acceptance which outlines the steps for receiving the funds.
All scholarships must be used within 12 months of receiving the acceptance letter from AENJ.
Senior High School Scholarship
ALL Senior High School Scholarship application materials are DUE February 22, 11:59 PM
SUBMIT all application materials AND teacher recommendation letter ONLINE!
The recommendation letter must come from an active member of AENJ who has been a member for a period of at least two (2) “consecutive” years (checked by AENJ Membership Chair).
This award is paid directly to the student’s school only upon receipt of the student’s tuition bill by AENJ’s Treasurer.
All information must be completed and received by the AENJ Scholarship chair no later than February 22nd. Incomplete applications will be automatically disqualified.

College Student Scholarship
ALL College Student Scholarship application materials are DUE April 15, 11:59 PM
Candidates for this award include college students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year majoring in Art Education or Studio Art in any public or private 4-yr institution of higher learning.
Candidates MUST be an AENJ member for at least 1 full year (will be checked by AENJ Membership Chair) and may apply in one of two (2) categories ART EDUCATION or STUDIO ART.
This award is paid directly to the student’s school only upon receipt of the student’s tuition bill by AENJ’s Treasurer.
A candidate must submit all of the following to AENJ’s Scholarship & Grants Chair no later than April 15th. Incomplete and/or late applications will be automatically disqualified.

Past Presidents Graduate Scholarship
ALL Past President Graduate Scholarship application materials are DUE April 15, 11:59 PM
Candidates for this award include AENJ members pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree in Art Education or an art-related field such as Museum Education, Art History, or Studio Art; or an advanced degree/certificate in Administration or Art Supervision.
Candidates MUST have been an AENJ member for at least one (1) full year (to be checked by AENJ’s Membership Chair) and will choose either ART EDUCATION or STUDIO ART as a focus of study.
This scholarship is paid directly to the student’s school only upon receipt of the student’s tuition bill by AENJ’s Treasurer.
