CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR AUGUST 2021 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT WINNER,

Marissa Marton-Sara

Mrs. Marton-Sarao has been in education for twelve years. She began her career as a grade six visual arts educator in the Hillsborough Township School district and is currently teaching Kindergarten through fifth grade art in the Warren Township Public School district. Mrs. Sarao was also a general education classroom teacher for some time, but she was thrilled to return to the art room where her passion lies. Mrs. Sarao believes that everyone has the ability to create art and she continues to remind her students of this as well as of the importance of arts in our world. Mrs. Sarao finds joy in the excitement that art brings to her elementary aged students, and embraces creativity in her young artists. Since her students moved to distance learning she has enjoyed watching families also engage in the arts with their children.  The Warren school community and families of Warren are incredibly supportive of the arts, and Mrs. Sarao is fortunate to be a part of a passionate and talented team of arts educators within the Warren Township Public Schools!
