Congratulations Stephanie Moench!

Stephanie Moench has been an art teacher for 8 years now, working as a middle school, and now for the past 3.5 years, an elementary art educator.  She works at Liberty Corner Elementary in Basking Ridge, NJ.  Previously to becoming a teacher, Stephanie worked as a fashion and textile designer.  In 2001 Stephanie earned her BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a focus on fashion design and illustration and then in 2008, a Masters in Art Education from Kean University.  

Stephanie’s other endeavors has been working with the Student Ambassadors for Community Health, 4-H and Middle Earth, muraling the streets and crosswalks of Bound Brook, to raise awareness for Pedestrian safety, creating an art sculpture trail through Billon Park, Bound Brook as well as coached the SACH teens in various other large scale projects. She also has been active in her hometown of Bridgewater, teaching children to create murals at Kid Street Park. In her free time, she is a proud mama to Jackson, 9, Emmanuella 7, and Julia, 5, which she considers her best works of art to date. Stephanie was nominated by her colleague Aleksandra Drobik.
