Megan Rademacher is a grade 4-8 art educator at Milltown’s Joyce Kilmer School. She was nominated by Mary O’Mara, a member of the school board in Milltown.
“Ms. Rademacher is tireless in her pursuit of strengthening art education at Joyce Kilmer School, but she is just as committed to the student body as a whole. Her artist efforts are evident before you even enter the school building when greeted by the beautiful sidewalk mural bearing the school’s mascot. She also runs an after school art club and has recently obtained approval for a chrome book cart to expand how the art can be well paired with technology. Ms. Rademacher is also impressive in her commitments to other aspects of school-she is the HIB specialist and the middle school softball coach. She is truly someone students can turn to as a trusted adult.”
