Gail Fountaine is an art educator at Grace M. Dunn Middle School in Trenton, NJ. Gail was nominated by friend and colleague, Debbie Greh.
We asked Gail to tell us about her teaching:
“As an art teacher at Grace A. Dunn Middle School, I teach 6th, 7th and 8th-grade students drawing, 2-D and 3-D based on the Principles of Design. To provide the necessary art supplies needed, I apply for grants and solicit funding from Donors Choose. My pedagogical approach to art is to inspire students to learn and in the process help them to develop an appreciation for art and art history.”
